Litterbox
We occasionally produce a litter of Great Dane Puppies.
All our dogs (and the dogs we use in our breeding program) have
exceptional conformation, health and temperament.
January 29, 2010.
Tyndall had her second litter today! She had 10 in total- 6 brindle females (unfortunately one was stillborn), 1 fawn female, and 3 fawn males. She was bred to Beau (Ch. Avant Weavers Le Capitaine) out of Derby Danes (www.derbydanes.com). All 9 puppies are doing well after several days of supplementing from Loren, Brian, Kate and Sara. Pictures will be following soon. We apologize as Brian is learning how to migrate our website toa new software. The current software we use is no longer manufactured and it contains special coding for PCs. Thus, when the website is viewed on a Mac, it does not look as clean because there is a lot of scrolling! Thank you for visiting our website. Check back often as we post photos of the puppies every week they grow.

Here is the sire of the litter with Tyndall. It is with great sadness that Beau just passed away on February 3, 2010. Our thoughts are with his owners and those who loved him.

Reggie had her first litter today! The first two (both harlequin -
one boy and one girl) were born in the late afternoon. The third
(mantle - girl) had to be removed via cesarean the next morning because
Reggie's contractions ceased. We assumed the puppy was dead, but
to our incredible delight she was alive and is a fighter. She
continues to keep up with the other two in growth daily.

Ice was bred a second time and gave birth today to five boys and one
girl, all fawn. She was bred to the same male we used for the
February singleton puppy. The next day she was bred to the 2006
Stud Dog of the Year (the February puppy's grandfather!) The
puppies have been DNAd and now we have to await the results for six to
eight weeks to know who the father of each of the puppies is.
Below are photos of the litter.

Non-traditional nursing! (9/27) More non-traditional nursing! Actually, mom was dried up, but the kids kept trying. (10/12) Orange had to stop for a quick pose. (10/13) Yet another pose from Orange. (10/13) Something caught Rainbow's attention. (10/13) Is this ergonomically correct?! (10/13) Yellow, Black, Rainbow and Orange taking a nap...well, maybe not Yellow so much. (10/13) Non-traditional way of eating. (10/13) Our first mush meal! (9/15) Mama taught us to play in our food! (9/15) This is pretty tasty. (9/15) The food always tastes better on the other side of the pan. (9/15) "Clean up in the puppy lounge! Clean up in the puppy lounge!" (9/15) Mama...lower yourself...I can't reach! (9/15) Strike a pose Orange! (9/15) Yes, I'm pregnant. Do you mind?! Ah, the joys of motherhood. Mama makes a great headrest!

Pre-op: Nothing like a good haircut! Dr. Jones hard at work welcoming Ice's newborn into the world. It's a brindle and it's a boy! Post-op: What a heartbeat! Sherry, Brenda, and Loren worked very diligently and were persistent in getting "little man" to breathe. Post-op: Mom and son meeting for the first time, albeit mom was still rather woozie!
