We ended up fostering three Irish Wolfhound's whose mother had an emergency c-section on the same day. She had 12 and died on the operating table. The puppies were fostered out and we took 3. Two died and 1 was returned to the vet. It is a long story that we continued to discover more damaging information as late as yesterday about that Wolfhound litter. As of this comment, 2 are still alive out of the litter. Very very sad situation. Anyway, I wanted to explain that photo as it had 8 puppies and I didn't want to confuse anyone!!! .
